Synthesis! … Well for now.

I’m pleased to bring you the next thing in the warez area. A download index that runs off RSS/XML feeds.

What we need now is for webmasters to make their feeds. Its actually not hard since most of them use the same program! Teehee. Yeah I got that!

Oh yeah about the name…. Syn.org and Synthesis.org /com were all taken. So I need to figure out some new name so i can get a domain!

Anyways… Cheers!

DEFCON is Coming!!!

defconAugust 4-6, 2006 @ Riviera Hotel

DEFCON will be held at a new location: the Riviera Hotel and Casino in Vegas. Admission is $100 Cash at the door.

Its a 3 day event. The Riviera is already sold out for saturday and sunday, but for now friday is open for 92 bucks. There are also other hotels near by that might be cheapier.
It might be on average 75 +/- bucks a night at another hotel. Depending on how it goes, we might be able to bunk with other people. (Yeah they do that! I heard of 10 people sleeping in a 1 bed room! Thats how packed it gets)

If we get more people we can share a room and split the price for the room
——————————————

For all 3 days @ Defcon + 3 night stay / Fri, Sat & Sun
(Spliting room cost)
100+100+100+37.5+37.5+37.5

Total price = 412.5 +/-

——————————————
2 day thing (2 days @ Defcon + 3 night stay) Sat & Sun

100+100+37.5+37.5+37.5

Thats 312.5 a person!!! For 2 days.

——————————————
2 day thing (2 days @ Defcon + 2 night stay) Sat & Sun

100+100+37.5+37.5 =180

A quick def of Defcon:

Hacker convention located in Las Vegas every summer where people go to:
1: Learn about the latest computer vulnerabilities, exploits, mods, and hacks.
2: Participate in (generally) computer related contests such as Capture the Flag, Wardriving, Wi-Fi Shootout, Scavenger Hunt, and Spot the Fed.
2: Get trashed and hang out with fellow geeks.
